Black beauty is a blackwork pattern from Inspirations magazine no 95. It is worked in different weights of black thread to provide the shading effect. I used 5 weights, from light to heavy:
- Monosilk black
- DMC Sewing thread #310 black
- Soie perlee
- Soie d’Alger black, 1 strand
- DMC stranded cotton #310, 2 threads
